Mio released the 8870 in November 2004 and soon after Sagem also re-branded the phone calling it the myS-7.

While the phone does not have inbuilt WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS you can supposedly use third party hardware thanks to the SDIO enabled card reader.

There have been many comments about the lack of Bluetooth but this is one of the few Smartphones that is ideal for gamers with it's 8-way control pad.
